The Akha Jipea of Laos

The Akha Jipea of Laos, numbering approximately 9,600 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as one of numerous Akha hill tribes that migrated from China into Southeast Asia during the early 20th century to settle in the mountains of northern Laos and can also be known as Hayi, Chipea.
They are an Indigenous people, with Akha as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Hani people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples.
Their primary religion is Buddhism - Folk.
They primarily speak Akha.
