The Dangasiya of India

The Dangasiya of India, numbering approximately 4,400 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a Scheduled Caste weaving community of Gujarat descended from the Bharwad, traditionally spinning and weaving wool supplied by patrons into blankets and shawls, a status marked by a legendary ancestor's contact with a dead animal.
They are an Indigenous people in the Gujarati people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Gujarati is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
