The Champta of India

The Champta of India, numbering approximately 4,400 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a community of India, Gujarat (principally in Kathiawar) and Rajasthan (Banswara, Dungarpur and Udaipur districts).
They are an Indigenous people in the Other South Asian people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Gujarati is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
