The Raval of India

The Raval of India, numbering approximately 12,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a caste community of Karnataka also known as Rawal, Ravalia, and Nath Panthi. The Raval are migrants from Gujarat speaking Kannada or Marathi, using both the Kannada and Devanagari scripts, and organized into patrilineal clans including Chauhan and Jadhav.
They are an Indigenous people in the Kanarese people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Kannada is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.

The Raval are Unengaged and Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations among which there are no known efforts focused on establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

Unreached yet Engaged

The Raval are Engaged yet Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations but there are sustained efforts at establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

No longer Unreached

The Raval are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.
