The Arayavati of India

The Arayavati of India, numbering approximately 1,200 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as an occupational caste of Malayalam-speaking barbers and fisherfolk traditionally attached to the Arayan and Valan communities in Kerala's Alleppey, Ernakulam and Trichur districts.
They are an Indigenous people in the Malayali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Malayalam is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
