The Bandollu of India

The Bandollu of India, numbering approximately 30,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a formerly nomadic Telugu-speaking mendicant community found throughout Andhra Pradesh, whose name derives from banda ("stone"), the stone alms-seekers traditionally carried while threatening self-harm if alms were refused.
They are an Indigenous people in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Telugu is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.

The Bandollu are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.
