The Medari of India, numbering approximately 189,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a traditional South Indian occupational community, historically specializing in bamboo work such as basket‑making, mat‑weaving, and the production of household and agricultural items.
They are an Indigenous people in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Telugu is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
