They are described as a community of India and can also be known as Lahiliya Bhil, Lynia, Khandeshi Bhil, Barda Bhil.
They are an Indigenous people, with Barda as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples.
Their primary religion is Hinduism - Folk.
They primarily speak Marathi.
