The Badhik of India

The Badhik of India, numbering approximately 19,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a Scheduled Caste community of western Uttar Pradesh, concentrated around Muzaffarnagar, whose name may derive from badh, meaning to kill. Traditionally hunters and trappers, they now work mainly as butchers and are also known as Hindu Kasai and can also be known as [no data].
They are an Indigenous people, with Badhik as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples.
Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism.
They primarily speak Hindi.
