The Pale of India

The Pale of India, numbering approximately 18,000 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as a Scheduled Caste of Kodagu district, Karnataka, divided into the migrant Aramane Pale and native Tulu Pale subgroups. Coffee plantation labor remains common, supplemented by small landholding agriculture.
They are an Indigenous people in the Other South Asian people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Tulu is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.

The Pale are Unengaged and Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations among which there are no known efforts focused on establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

The Pale are Engaged yet Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations but there are sustained efforts at establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

No longer Unreached

The Pale are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.

Pray that God will raise up people to go and share the gospel and help them trust His promise that anyone who has left those they treasure for the sake of the kingdom of God will receive many times more in this life and in the life to come.
