The Hindu Nat of India, numbering approximately 362,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a traditional performer community whose identity is rooted in acrobatics, dance, music, and traveling entertainment. They have played an important role in preserving Indian folk culture, even while facing social and economic marginalization.
They are an Indigenous people in the Punjabi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Hindi is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
