The Naik of India

The Naik of India, numbering approximately 112,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a Banjara community of Raipur district in Madhya Pradesh claiming Kshatriya status and wearing the sacred thread. Cultivation remains their primary occupation, supplemented by agricultural labor and business.
They are an Indigenous people in the Rajasthani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Lambadi is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
