The Chagga of Tanzania, numbering approximately 1,170,000 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as an indigenous ethnic group native to the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro and parts of Mount Meru in northeastern Tanzania .
They are an Indigenous people, with Chagga (Mochi) as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Bantu, Central-East people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African.
Their primary religion is Christianity - Roman Catholicism.
They primarily speak Swahili.
