The Tamajeq Tuareg of Niger, numbering approximately 1,270,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a large Berber ethnic group that inhabits a vast area of the Sahara desert stretching from far southwestern Libya to southern Algeria, Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso.
They are an Indigenous people in the Tuareg people cluster of the Arab Peoples affinity bloc.
Tamajaq, Tawallammat is their primary language and Folk Islam is their primary religion.
