The Pao Karen of Myanmar

The Pao Karen of Myanmar, numbering approximately 873,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as an ethnolinguistic subgroup of the Karen, an ethnic group indigenous to Kayin State in southeastern Myanmar and can also be known as Black Karen, Taungthu, Pa-O, Paoh, Pa'o Karen, Pao', Black Karen.
They are an Indigenous people, with Karen as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Karen people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples.
Their primary religion is Buddhism - Theravada.
They primarily speak Pa’o.
