The Patanwadia of India

The Patanwadia of India, numbering approximately 55,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a community of Kheda, Ahmedabad, and Vadodara districts in Gujarat also called Thakar or Dharala, named for Anhilpur Patan. Once bodyguards for wedding processions, today agriculture, carpentry, and diamond-cutting are common occupations.
They are an Indigenous people in the Gujarati people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Gujarati is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
