The Kapadia Sansi of India

The Kapadia Sansi of India, numbering approximately 1,500 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as a Scheduled Caste offshoot of the Sansi in Rajasthan whose name recalls an ancestral group that stole cloth, kapda. Once landless, they now farm irrigated land allotted by the government.
They are an Indigenous people in the Rajasthani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Marwari (India) is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
