The Sadhu Chetty of India

The Sadhu Chetty of India, numbering approximately 41,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a community of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and Puducherry also called Janappan or Goniga, traditionally weavers and menders of jute gunny-bags. Business and agriculture have largely replaced this traditional craft.
They are an Indigenous people in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Telugu is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
