The Hardas of India

The Hardas of India, numbering approximately 64,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a community of religious mendicants in Maharashtra, also known as Chitrakathi, whose name derives from the deity Hari Vithal. The Hardas were traditionally wandering storytellers who narrate epic tales accompanied by music.
They are an Indigenous people in the Marathi-Konkani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Marathi is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
