The Vanjari of India

The Vanjari of India, numbering approximately 75,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a community of Ahmednagar, Bhir, and Aurangabad districts, Maharashtra, and neighboring Andhra Pradesh, their name recalling the forest. Agriculture remains principal, supplemented by cattle trade and service.
They are an Indigenous people in the Marathi-Konkani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Telugu is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
