The Barar of India

The Barar of India, numbering approximately 14,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a Scheduled Caste artisan community of Punjab traditionally engaged in crafting combs, winnowing fans, and baskets from reeds. They migrated from the Kangra hills, speak Pahari among themselves, and worship Baba Balak Nath.
They are an Indigenous people in the Nepali-Pahari people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Pahari-Potwari is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
