The Majhi of India

The Majhi of India, numbering approximately 500 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as a small migrant community originally associated with boat-rowing but now largely engaged in diverse livelihoods such as farming, wage labor, small business, and contract work.
They are an Indigenous people in the Punjabi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Majhi is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
