The Mundapotta of India

The Mundapotta of India, numbering approximately 1,600 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a Scheduled Caste of Odisha, also called Anadari, whose mendicant ancestors buried their heads in sand to draw pilgrims' sympathy at Puri. Alms-seeking and acrobatics remain traditional, supplemented by wage labor.
They are an Indigenous people in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Telugu is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.

The Mundapotta are Unengaged and Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations among which there are no known efforts focused on establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

The Mundapotta are Engaged yet Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations but there are sustained efforts at establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

The Mundapotta are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.
