Once professional warriors in the army of the royal house of Bharatpur, they are now landowning agriculturists concentrated in Bharatpur and Jaipur and can also be known as [no data].
They are an Indigenous people, with Bargi as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples.
Their primary religion is Hinduism.
They primarily speak Braj Bhasha.
