The Madrasi of India

They are described as a generic term for migrants from the four southern states settled in the Andaman Islands, Assam, and Kolkata, encompassing many distinct castes and languages. Government service and business are their principal occupations.
They are an Indigenous people in the Tamil people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Tamil is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
