The Eastern Tamang of Bhutan, numbering approximately 5,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a Tibeto-Burmese ethnic group indigenous to Nepal, Southern Bhutan, and North India.
They are an Diaspora people in the South Himalayan people cluster of the Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc.
Tamang, Eastern is their primary language and Tibetan Buddhism is their primary religion.
