The Ramgarhia Sikhs of India

The Ramgarhia Sikhs of India, numbering approximately 1,070,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a Sikh carpenter community of Punjab and Rajasthan renamed from Tarkhan after their leader Jassa Singh Ramgarhia. Carpentry, masonry, and small industry remain their principal occupations.
They are an Indigenous people in the South Asian Sikh people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Punjabi, Eastern is their primary language and Sikhism is their primary religion.

Unengaged and Unreached

The Ramgarhia Sikhs are Unengaged and Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations among which there are no known efforts focused on establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

Unreached yet Engaged

The Ramgarhia Sikhs are Engaged yet Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations but there are sustained efforts at establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

No longer Unreached

The Ramgarhia Sikhs are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.
