The Chamar (Pahari) of India

The Chamar (Pahari) of India, numbering approximately 651,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a significant community of northern India, traditionally associated with leather work and tanning. Over time, many Chamars have moved away from their traditional occupation and are now part of the broader agricultural and urban labor force and can also be known as Raigar, Ramdasia, Chamehar, Chamar, Chambhar.
They are an Indigenous people, with Chamar as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Chamar people cluster of the South Asian Peoples.
Their primary religion is Hinduism.
They primarily speak Garhwali.
