The Arain (Kannauji) of India, numbering approximately 71,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a Muslim agricultural community of the north‑western Indian subcontinent, historically known as skilled cultivators, market gardeners, and farmers. Today they are found in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.
They are an Indigenous people in the Arain people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Kanauji is their primary language and Sunni Islam is their primary religion.
