The Heikum of Botswana

The Heikum of Botswana, numbering approximately 73,000 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as a northern Namibian San people traditionally associated with the Etosha region. Historically reliant on hunting and gathering, they maintained extensive ecological knowledge of savannah and semi-arid environments. They are also known as Saan.
They are an Diaspora people in the Khoisan people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc.
Setswana is their primary language and Ethnoreligion is their primary religion.

The Heikum are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.
