The Kadaiyan of India

The Kadaiyan of India, numbering approximately 19,000 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as a Scheduled Caste community found in Kerala, where they traditionally make iron implements, and in Tamil Nadu, where they work as fishermen. The Kadaiyan are Malayalam- or Tamil-speaking depending on the state and are Hindu.
They are an Indigenous people in the Tamil people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Tamil is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
