They are an Indigenous people, with Zou (Zomi Chin) as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Kuki-Chin (Zo) people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples.
Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism.
They primarily speak Zo.
