The Handi Jogi of India

The Handi Jogi of India, numbering approximately 26,000 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as a Scheduled Caste community of Hassan and Bengaluru districts in Karnataka. The Handi Jogi migrated to Karnataka from Andhra Pradesh, where they traditionally worked as pig-rearers and alms-seekers. Most today are agricultural laborers.
They are an Indigenous people in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Kannada is their primary language and Folk Hinduism is their primary religion.
