The Rajbhar of India

The Rajbhar of India, numbering approximately 89,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a community of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. Considered an offshoot of the Bhar, the Rajbhar were traditionally farm servants and cattle-herders for local rulers. Cultivation and wage labor remain common occupations among this Hindu group.
They are an Indigenous people in the Bengali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Bhojpuri is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.

The Rajbhar are Unengaged and Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations among which there are no known efforts focused on establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.
