The Banjania of India

The Banjania of India, numbering approximately 35,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as an occupational Hindu community of the Nat in Gujarat, named for their traditional gymnastics performed to the drum (baja), historically entertaining rulers as acrobats and musicians. They now depend mainly on small trade and wage labor.
They are an Indigenous people in the Gujarati people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Gujarati is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
