The Ezhavathi of India

The Ezhavathi of India, numbering approximately 55,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a Kerala barber community historically serving the Ezhava, whose name Ezhavathi reflects that traditional client relationship, and who performed depilatory and hair-cutting services before opening modern saloons.
They are an Indigenous people in the Malayali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Malayalam is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
