The Kalladi of India

The Kalladi of India, numbering approximately 57,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a Scheduled Caste community of Malappuram district in Kerala whose traditional occupations are mat-weaving and trapping birds and animals. They are Hindu and now largely work in animal husbandry and wage labor.
They are an Indigenous people in the Malayali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Malayalam is their primary language and Folk Hinduism is their primary religion.
