The Saur of India

The Saur of India, numbering approximately 199,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a Scheduled Tribe of Tikamgarh, Panna, Satna, and Chhatarpur districts, Madhya Pradesh, traditionally collectors and sellers of firewood from nearby forests. Agricultural labor now supplements this declining traditional occupation.
They are an Indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Hindi is their primary language and Folk Hinduism is their primary religion.
