The Pardhi of India

The Pardhi of India, numbering approximately 360,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a historically nomadic tribal community best known for their traditional skills as hunters, trackers, and forest specialists. They are today recognized as a Denotified Tribe (DNT) and, in some states, as a Scheduled Tribe (ST).
They are an Indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Gujarati is their primary language and Animism is their primary religion.

Unengaged and Unreached

The Pardhi are Unengaged and Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations among which there are no known efforts focused on establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

Unreached yet Engaged

The Pardhi are Engaged yet Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations but there are sustained efforts at establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

No longer Unreached

The Pardhi are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.
