The Ghanchi of India

The Ghanchi of India, numbering approximately 130,000 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as a Muslim trading community of Rajasthan and Gujarat whose name derives from ganchi, a traditional oil-pressing device, historically engaged in pressing and selling oil alongside cultivation and wage labor.
They are an Indigenous people in the Teli people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Gujarati is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.

The Ghanchi are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.
