The Qassab of India

The Qassab of India, numbering approximately 2,645,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a Muslim occupational community of Uttar Pradesh traditionally engaged in goat butchery and the sale of meat and hides. They claim descent from the Quresh of Arabia, use Qureshi as a surname, and speak Urdu.
They are an Indigenous people in the Urdu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Urdu is their primary language and Sunni Islam is their primary religion.
