The Mang of India

The Mang of India, numbering approximately 3,065,000 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as a Scheduled Caste spread across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, and Odisha. Traditionally tanners, shoemakers, and rope-makers, today agricultural labor is their common occupation.
They are an Indigenous people in the Marathi-Konkani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Marathi is their primary language and Folk Hinduism is their primary religion.

The Mang are Unengaged and Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations among which there are no known efforts focused on establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

The Mang are Engaged yet Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations but there are sustained efforts at establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.
