The Kalwar of India

The Kalwar of India, numbering approximately 3,215,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a predominantly Hindu community of liquor distillers and traders across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal. The Kalwar are also called Kalal or Kallar. Most have since moved into settled cultivation, trade, and government service.
They are an Indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Hindi is their primary language and Hinduism is their primary religion.
