The Taurap of Indonesia

The Taurap of Indonesia, numbering approximately 350 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as a small Papuan ethnolinguistic community of the middle Mamberamo River region in Papua, Indonesia. Also known as the Burmeso people, they maintain a distinct identity rooted in riverine settlements, customary lands, and Mamberamo traditions.
They are an Indigenous people in the New Guinea people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples affinity bloc.
Burmeso is their primary language and Protestantism is their primary religion.
