The Wichi of Paraguay

The Wichi of Paraguay, numbering approximately 3,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as a subgroup of the Wichí, an indigenous ethnic group originating in Argentina and can also be known as Mataco, Wichi, Pilcomayo Mataco.
They are an Diaspora people, with Wichi as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans.
Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion.
They primarily speak Pilcomayo Wichí.

The Wichi are Unengaged and Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations among which there are no known efforts focused on establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

The Wichi are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.
