The Subia of Botswana

The Subia of Botswana, numbering approximately 7,600 people, are Engaged yet Unreached.
They are described as a Bantu‑speaking ethnic group of southern Africa. They are a river‑oriented people historically settled along the Zambezi, Chobe, and Linyanti river systems, with significant populations today in Namibia, Botswana, and Zambia. They are also known as Basubiya.
They are an Indigenous people in the Bantu, Central-South people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc.
Kuhane is their primary language and Animism is their primary religion.
