The Jita of Tanzania

The Jita of Tanzania, numbering approximately 598,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as an ethnic and linguistic community of northwestern Tanzania, living mainly along the southeastern shore of Lake Victoria in the Mara Region, especially around Musoma District. They are also known as Wajita.
They are an Indigenous people in the Bantu, Central-Lakes people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc.
Jita is their primary language and African Traditional Religion is their primary religion.
