The Mafa of Nigeria

The Mafa of Nigeria, numbering approximately 9,700 people, are No Longer Unreached.
They are described as an indigenous community of Nigeria and can also be known as Mofa, Matakam, Bulahai.
They are an Indigenous people, with Mboa as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African.
Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism.
They primarily speak Mbonga.

The Mafa are Unengaged and Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations among which there are no known efforts focused on establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

Unreached yet Engaged

The Mafa are Engaged yet Unreached, which means there are less than 2% evangelical Christian populations but there are sustained efforts at establishing self-sustaining churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice.

No longer Unreached

The Mafa are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.

Pray that those who do not yet worship Jesus will be still and know that He is God, that He will be exalted among them and in all the earth.
