They are described as a Loloish ethnic group of Vietnam, officially recognized as one of 54 ethnicities in the country and can also be known as Laghuu, Lô Lô, Mùn Di, Màn Di, Lu Lộc Màn, Di, La La, Qua La, Ô Man.
They are an Indigenous people, with Lo Lo as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Other Tibeto-Burmese people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples.
Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion.
They primarily speak Laghuu.
