The Nyahkur of Thailand

The Nyahkur of Thailand, numbering approximately 1,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached.
They are described as an Indigenous ethnic group of Thailand. They are descendants of the ancient Mon civilization of Dvaravati and represent one of the few surviving communities preserving a language directly descended from Old Mon.
They are an Indigenous people in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc.
Nyahkur is their primary language and Folk Buddhism is their primary religion.
